Coloured Vinyl Transfer (HTV) for Durable and Custom Garments
For simple shapes, design and letters we recommend a vinyl transfer, this is often referred to as HTV. This is a very robust material which is lightweight, opaque and can withstand many washes. This is computer cut to your design and heat applied onto your garment. This could be a t-shirt, hoodie, sweatshirt or many others but tends to work better onto 100% cotton garments. If you pop into the shop, you’ll often see our team wearing t-shirts printed using this method. We can layer different colours too if your design contains multiple colours with a choice of 30+ available.
Print Transfer: Full-Color Designs for Workwear and Special Events
For more complex designs including full colour logos or photographs, we recommend a printed transfer. This process involves printing directly onto vinyl using an eco-solvent ink to ensure vibrance and accuracy of the colours, which is then heat pressed onto the garment. The transfer can be contour cut to any shape to remove as much of the white background as possible. This method of printing is very popular for workwear. It’s also very useful for the interesting designs we do for Stag and Hen weekends!
